This workshop supplies foundational skills and knowledge that participants can apply ASAP, including how to record financial goals and break down the steps towards achieving them. Topics include money beliefs, spending, savings goals, KiwiSaver, debt, emergency funds and insurance.
Women tend to live longer than men, earn less over our lifetimes and take more time away from paid employment, all of which affect long-term financial security. This workshop highlights the unique situations women face in managing money and provides vital knowledge and skills. Participants are empowered to make moves to secure their financial future through topics such as strategies for talking about money, financial decision-making, retirement planning and investing.
Note: If wished, you can create a safe space for women to discuss their thoughts, approaches and challenges by running the following courses for women only.
This course is all about how to get ahead. Topics include financial past and future, money personality and beliefs, spending goals and plans, money systems, staying on track, retirement and KiwiSaver, debt, net worth, emergency funds, wills and power of attorney, an intro to investing and where to get advice.
This deep dive is for people who have a good level of financial capability and are ready to progress their investing journey. It doesn’t provide individual investment advice, but talks participants through what investing is and isn’t, how to set goals to achieve financial growth, researching the options, types of assets and funds, fees and tax, setting a strategy, creating an investment plan, monitoring and reviewing, and maximising KiwiSaver.
Any age is a good age to start planning for a secure financial future. This course covers goals, transitioning to retirement, stages of retirement, where to live, income, spending and lifestyle, retirement funds, decumulating wealth over time, health and wellbeing, insurance, wills, trusts, power of attorney, fraud and scams.
