Most people feel financially stretched and out of control—blaming external factors like the economy or their income. But lasting financial change comes from mastering what’s already within your control. I specialise in teaching practical money skills that help everyday people gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances — so you can make intentional decisions, reduce stress, and create long-term stability and independence.
Hi, I’m Kara
Money Confidence Mentor & Financial Wellbeing Educator
Supporting women to take small, practical steps towards financial confidence — without shame, overwhelm, or deprivation.
Waking up without that quiet financial stress sitting in the background of your life.
Knowing exactly where your money is going and feeling confident about the decisions you’re making.
Having simple systems in place that help you save, spend, and plan for the future — without overwhelm, restriction, or guilt.
Feeling prepared for unexpected expenses instead of panicked by them.
Being able to enjoy your money on the things that matter most to you, while still building long-term financial security.
Understanding your KiwiSaver, reducing debt, building savings, and finally feeling like you’re making real progress.
Having calm, practical support from someone who understands both the emotional and practical side of money.
Taking small, achievable steps that build genuine financial confidence over time.
Feeling lighter. More in control. More hopeful about your future.
And knowing you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
This can become your everyday reality sooner than you think.
Not through pressure. Not through perfection. And not by giving up everything you enjoy.
But through practical support, clear guidance, and small consistent changes that actually work in real life.
Many people realise they were never properly taught how to manage, grow, or feel confident with money.
If you’re ready to change that, you’re in the right place.
This is financial empowerment coaching designed to help you rebuild clarity, confidence, and control over your financial life — so you can move forward with more stability and peace of mind.
Every coaching journey is tailored, but most clients focus on:
This is not about complicated systems or financial overwhelm.
It’s about making money feel simpler, clearer, and more manageable.
If you’re considering one-to-one coaching, the first step is a free 20-minute discovery call.
I’m a Financial Wellbeing Educator and Money Confidence Coach.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in banking, finance, investing, and personal wealth management — helping everyday people build greater confidence, clarity, and control with their money.
I’m also an independent financial literacy facilitator with New Zealand’s Retirement Commission, where I support Kiwis to improve their financial wellbeing through practical, real-life education.
But more importantly?
I’m deeply passionate about helping women feel calmer, more capable, and more confident with money — without shame, overwhelm, or deprivation.
My philosophy is simple:
Financial confidence shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
It should feel achievable.
Through my courses, workshops, community, and coaching, I help women:
I combine:
✔ over three decades of real-world financial experience
✔ formal qualifications in personal financial planning
✔ practical investing and wealth-building knowledge
✔ and a warm, human approach that makes money feel less intimidating and more empowering.
Because this work isn’t just about numbers.
It’s about creating:
And I’d love to help you do the same.
